Sahara Express Courier Private Limited came into being on Friday, 18th January 2002. It all began with the setting up of four offices at Chennai, Coimbatore, Mumbai and Delhi.

The overwhelming response from customers was not just a dream come true, but the fruits of an early realization and recognition of the tremendous potential that the Indian subcontinent offered in terms of market size.

Sahara Express was one of the first few established companies in India, with its principal activity being that of a courier service provider. Supported by more than 200 dedicated employees, 75 fleet closed vehicles and 150 motorbike couriers, it meets the demand for door-to-door fast, efficient and reliable service for speedy transfer of light & heavy weight and high value goods between locations.

Sahara Express main hub is located at its Head Office in Tamilnadu India, Chennai handling over 3500 packages per day and with ongoing of facilities, it may handle up to 7,000 pieces of packages daily. With over 120 locations, Sahara Express has the most comprehensive and extensive network in the whole of India. We have centres strategically located in virtually every town dotted along the length and breath of India.

As a natural corollary to its growth endeavor, Sahara Express is in the process of setting up a large scale integrated Logistics Division to offer an entire gamut of Warehousing, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Services and Distribution Channels, thereby providing total end-to-end solutions to customers.
